Protect your TV during moving or storage with our heavy duty Large TV Moving Box, designed to suit most 70-85 inch TVs. The easy-to-assemble 2-piece telescopic design uses a separate lid and base that adjust to suit different screen sizes.

This box provides better structure than relying on blankets, loose cardboard or bubble wrap alone. TV box inserts are sold separately and are recommended for better screen protection. For this large size, we recommend using at least 6 TV inserts.

This large TV moving box uses a 2-piece telescopic cardboard design, with a separate lid and base that slide together to suit different TV sizes.

TV sizes can vary between brands and models, so please measure the full width and height of your TV before ordering, including any fixed stand or protruding parts.

For extra protection, some customers also wrap the TV in a moving blanket or other soft protective layer before boxing.

This box is supplied flat-packed, but it is still a very large item. The largest flat-packed piece measures 2310 × 1420mm, so it will not fit in most small vehicles or standard passenger cars.

If you are collecting, you should expect to need a van, ute or truck. If you’re unsure whether it will fit in your vehicle, delivery is usually the safer option.

TV Box FAQs

Yes, the Large TV Moving Box is designed for most TVs from 70 to 85 inches, including common 75-inch, 80-inch and 85-inch TVs. We recommend removing the stand and checking the full width and height of your TV before ordering, particularly for unusually wide frames or fixed components.

Remove the TV stand or feet where possible, then disconnect and neatly coil the power cord, HDMI cables and any other leads. Pack the remote, screws and other small components together in a labelled bag or small box.

These items can be secured inside the TV box, provided they cannot move around or come into contact with the screen. The TV inserts create space beneath and around the television, but all loose components should still be wrapped or firmly secured.

This keeps everything together and ready to set up at your new home, rather than having to search through other boxes for a missing cord, remote or screw.

Modern TVs do not have the same transport concerns as older plasma screens, but we still recommend keeping them upright. Laying a large, thin TV flat can place pressure on the screen and allow the panel or frame to flex during transport.

Secure the packed TV upright with tv box inserts so it cannot tip or slide, and do not stack items on top of it.
