The Bike Moving Box is a large fixed-size carton designed for packing bicycles during moving, storage or transport.

It is suitable for many adult and kids’ bikes, with some bike preparation usually required before packing. Depending on the bike, this may include removing the pedals, turning the handlebars, lowering the seat and removing the front wheel.

The box can also be useful for large flat items such as oversized artwork, framed prints or mirrors where the dimensions are suitable. For extra protection, we recommend using bubble wrap, packing paper or moving blankets to reduce movement inside the carton.

  • Large framed prints
  • Mirrors and other large flat items where the dimensions are suitable

This box is not a purpose-built TV moving box. For televisions, we recommend using a TV Moving Box with TV inserts for better protection.

Important collection note:

Before packing a bike, the following steps may be required:

  • Remove pedals
  • Loosen the handlebar locking nut
  • Turn the handlebars approximately 45 degrees so they sit more in line with the bike frame
  • Lower the seat if required
  • Remove the front wheel if necessary
  • Wrap and secure loose parts inside the carton

Bike sizes and frame shapes vary, so check the box dimensions against your bike before ordering.
